We’re on the hunt for a new team member to join us as a Software Test Engineer for our EcoStruxure Building Operation software solution in Lund, Sweden. If you’re passionate about technology and love solving complex problems, this might just be the perfect role for you!

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

Schneider Electric now has a challenging opportunity for a passionate individual to assume the role of Software Test Engineer for our EcoStruxure Building Operation software solution in Lund, Sweden.

In this role, you will work closely with your peer Test Engineers within the department and our R&D Software Development Teams in a scaled agile environment. You will have or gain profound knowledge of Schneider Electric Digital Buildings products and solutions.

The Digital Buildings Business of Schneider Electric provides intelligent building management solutions to help customers create a productive and comfortable environment for its occupants, reduce energy consumption, and run building operations efficiently.

The position is with the System Integration Department, responsible for Continuous Integration Testing and System Testing of new technology, software, and services at the R&D department before releasing them to customers. The department is situated both in Andover, US, and in Lund, Sweden, with state-of-the-art laboratories at each site.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or a similar field, or extensive experience in servicing, maintaining, commissioning, or designing Building Management Systems.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Fluent in English.

BONUS POINTS FOR:

• Experience with intelligent Building Management Systems (BMS) from any manufacturer.
• Knowledge of Windows-based PC hardware/software and networking technology.
• Familiarity with embedded/Linux systems, both hardware and software.
