Principal Software Architect

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities

lLeads cybersecurity-related software components (IAM/Audit/Licensing) architecture design and participates in detailed design and reviews. Owns end-to-end cybersecurity integration across the SDLC of software products where the components are applied.

lWorks with other software development, test, and DevOps engineers to deliver software releases on time with good quality.

lLeads the architecture cybersecurity design of the next-generation digital service platform in Schneider Electric China.

lExplores, evaluates, and implements new technologies to maximize cybersecurity and development efficiency.

Qualifications

lBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related fields; Master’s preferred.

l5+ years of hands-on experience in software architecture design, with a proven track record in leading full SDLC for software systems.

l3+ years of experience in cybersecurity-related fields (e.g. IEC 62443 compliance in industrial and application security)

lSolid knowledge of product security / cybersecurity with hands-on experience in security requirements, threat modeling, secure software architecture and design, and secure software implementation

lExpertise in at least one of the following programming languages: Java, C#, TypeScript, JavaScript, C++/C

lGood learning, planning and communication skills in technical concepts and architectural design. Ability to communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

lCSSLP certificate is highly preferred.
