Job SummaryIf you are interested in new product design for Isolation Valve, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! The Design Engineer will work as part of the Global Engineering team to produce complete valve design packages, including detailed drawings, BOM, calculation, analysis reports, and equipment specifications, and be capable of communicating the details of these design packages to the remaining project team (plant engineers, test engineers, project managers, supervisors, etc.).In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
• Responsible for the development of new products:Responsible for customer CTQ survey, define product scope and specifications to determine product development direction and annual research topics;System architecture and design plan;Tracking of the entire development process such as product cost estimation, prototype establishment, design/manufacturing/purchasing/marketing;Lead the verification of product systems;Lead the review and correction of problems at the experimental site;Support the project manager in tracking the progress of the project plan.
• Carrying out the work of introducing products:Define the technical content of the project: CTQ, functional requirements, experimental verification requirements; prepare performance checklists. Product design review, including component replacement review;Data introduction plan and implementation: drawings, parts/material specifications, test verification specifications, BOM, product system standards, etc.;Determine the design change procedure with the transferor engineer;Support the project manager in tracking the progress of the project.
• Lead and implement technical review of order contracts, detailed product design and changes, including design drawings, parts/material specifications, test verification specifications, BOM and product system standards, etc.;
• Lead the design change process:Design change review and experimental confirmation;Design change process tracking;Assist managers to establish product value-added design improvements and implementation;
• Ensure that designers can use clean materials and environmentally friendly and safe processes during the design and development of new products;
• Pay the greatest attention and good judgment in preventing EHS accidents, promote subordinates and management areas to maintain a good EHS status, and always adopt correct health and safety behaviors.

For This Role, You Will Need:
• Support to customer communication, quotation, documentation, audit and certificating.
• Support to production process, quality plan and functional business.
• Contribute to supply resource developing for critical components through technical evaluation.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
• Bachelor’s degree required in in Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ Years of Manufacturing, Mechanics, or Laboratory test Engineering experience required.
• Ability to use complex tools to perform engineering analysis
• Having knowledge of mechanical design theories, casting material, valve & actuation principles.
• Working knowledge of international standards, ISO 9000 quality procedure and design tools such as 6б, FMEA, etc.
• R&D experience in the valves preferred.
• Necessary consciousness of teamwork, communication, and performance excellence
