Wood is currently recruiting for a Project Engineer to form part of our site-based project team in Broadmeadows supporting the growing Pharmaceutical Industry.

The Role 
Reporting to the Delivery lead, the ideal candidate would act as the client interface and manage concurrently several minor capital projects to scope, cost and schedule and provide support to project managers delivering key Tier 2 projects.

Responsibilities

The key objectives for this role are: Manage project teams including Client resources and subcontractors to deliver projects from project definition/estimation, through design, procurement, construction, hand over and close-out with bottom line responsibility for the financial and technical success of a projectInterfacing with client engineering, operations and quality teams to ensure fit-for-purpose design, timely resolution of queries and compliance with GxP/GMP requirementsCoordinating the production of GxP/GMP documentation and stewarding through approvals and executionOverseeing the procurement, expediting and receipt of materials and equipment within Client systemOverseeing and coordinating construction activities using Client permitting system
