As anApplication EngineeratYokogawa, you’ll build and maintain the systems that is the digital foundation of some of the world’s most essential industries — ensuring that safety, stability, and sustainability go hand in hand.

You’ll be part of theSolution Engineering Teamwithin theOperations NL Team— a diverse group of specialists with complementary skillsets and a shared mindset.

You will be the responsible person for installing and maintaining ourdata historianand the products that rely on this data historian. You will also be the responsible person for ourcustom made applications.

As Application Engineer you will not only support above mentioned solutions you will also be trained in one of our main products likeDCS, Safety or SCADA.

What You’ll Be Doing

As anApplication Engineer, you’ll:

• Install and maintain our data historian and itsAdvanced Solutions.
• Maintain and support our custom made applications, based onVB, C# or the like.
• Implement modifications to customers systems in alive environment.
• Maintain the customer systems to bereliable and ready 24/7. This also includes handling assigned emergency calls.
• Coordinateand verify work prepared by ourengineering centresin Romania and India
• Support your customer withtechnical questionsor upgrades.
• Creating and maintainingas-built documentationthat ensures clarity and continuity.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

You’re someone who thrives at the intersection oftechnology and responsibility. You understand the demands of industrial environments and bring a reliable-by-design mindset to everything you do.

You bring:

• AnMBO / HBOdegree in process automation/control, mechatronics or equivalent
• Acommunicative personalityenjoys working in a team of technical experts
• A willingness totravelwithin theNetherlands frequentlyand from to time to timeabroad
• (Basic)programming skills, like JAVA, VB or C#
• self-motivatedin solving problems and searching for new knowledge
• A structured, hands-on approach to problem solving.
• Strong communication skills in eitherDutch or English.
• A solution-focused, flexible attitude andcustomer-centricmindset.
