About the Role
We’re seeking a skilled and motivatedDigital Project Engineerto join a dynamic digital transformation programme within a leading energy operator. The successful candidate will manage multiple digital product deliveries using agile practices and coordinate closely with business units, IT, and technology partners to design and deploy value-driven solutions. You’ll help push the boundaries of digital innovation in one of the most technically advanced offshore oil fields in the world.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead digital product development, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business goals
• Manage project timelines, backlogs, and sprint activities using agile methodologies
• Support risk identification, track progress, and report key metrics and outcomes
• Collaborate with Product Owners, development teams, and vendors to ensure timely delivery
• Facilitate agile ceremonies: stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Drive user-centric design with clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and value tracking
• Lead or participate in workshops to map as-is and to-be business processes
• Coordinate rollouts, training materials, and change management support
• Maintain backlog tools and communicate updates to senior stakeholders
• Contribute to portfolio-wide collaboration, identifying synergies between products and platforms

Experience & Skills Required

• Minimum 6 years’ experience in digital product development and agile delivery
• Demonstrable track record of success in fast-paced, industrial digital environments
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across business and tech teams
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. Azure), DevOps, and agile tools like Jira/Confluence
• Knowledge of change management principles and digital transformation strategies
• Working knowledge of SDLC, UX/UI practices, and industry data platforms (e.g., OSDU or Cognite)
• Proven ability to lead agile squads and deliver across multiple simultaneous projects
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Desirable Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, data science, IT, or related field
• Certified Scrum Practitioner (CSP), ITIL, or equivalent
• Project Management or Business Analysis certification is an advantage
