Asa System Integration Engineer, you will join our Sydney-based software development team, focusing on the development of Honeywell’s flagship industrial automation systems for global markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform software system integration tasks to deliver high-quality software system releases on schedule.
• Enhance and update large System Integration Lab hardware and software, including virtualization, servers, workstations, network switches, routers, controllers, and other equipment.
• Support the latest product offerings through effective management of the System Integration Lab infrastructure.
• Develop test automation scripts to improve productivity.
• Create procedures for test automation to streamline processes.
• Continuously update and refine test automation to ensure effectiveness.
• Collaborate with team members to integrate and test new software systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system integration and testing.

Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Control Systems, Computer Science, Networking/Communication, or equivalent discipline.
• Over 5 years of experience in engineering or a related role, with a strong familiarity with software engineering principles.
• Proficient in industrial automation and control systems, including Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and/or SCADA Systems, as well as Process & PLC controllers’ configuration.
• Skilled in scripting languages such as Python, Java, and PowerShell.
• Proficient in Windows Operating Systems and virtualization technologies.
