Wood is recruiting for a System Processor (Local National) to join its Iraq business unit focusing on processing the service and/or material requests or revisions in the system, on behalf of the business lines, in a timely and accurate manner for a Major Onshore Brownfield Project in Basra, Iraq on 5 days on 2 days off rotation.
 
This role is a full-time on-site role in Basra, Iraq with travel requirement.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

Process the service and/or material requests or revisions in the system, on behalf of the business lines, in a timely and accurate manner.
Ensure that all service and/or material requests are properly supported to ensure tracking of work activities. 
Ensure the service and/or material requests are created under valid contracts, and they are approved according to the processes and procedures.
Process service entry/receipts in the system, on behalf of the business lines, in a timely and accurate manner. 
Ensure that all service entries/receipts are processed according to the proper documentation and approvals. 
Monitor order creation and release for open requisitions with close interface with the contracting and buying teams.
Maintain accurate documentation.
Interface with business lines to resolve any discrepancies.
Ensure accurate cost coding and budget allocation

Expected:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Science, or Business
3+ year experience in Procurement or Controllers/Finance
Good communication and presentation skills (verbal and written)
Strong knowledge of ERP systems (Maximo and IDEAS, preferably)
Good interpersonal & communication skills
Strong analytical, stewardship and reporting skills 
Well versed in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc). 
Good documentation skills
Strong attention to details
Willingness to work in remote & changing environment
