RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide strategic direction for systems engineering activities, aligning them with the company’s goals and objectives
• Drive innovation and guide the development of advanced systems
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of systems engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence
• Regularly evaluate and provide feedback to team members
• Identify and mitigate risks, and make data-driven decisions to keep projects on track
• Budget/schedule responsibility
• Champion best practices in systems engineering and integration
• Collaborate with technical experts and thought leaders to drive technological advancements
• Customer interaction
• Present complex technical information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences

MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering and engineering management
• C/C++, Python, Java, MATLAB, VBA, Git, Bitbucket, JIRA, Microsoft Visual Studio
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Provides guidance and coaching to direct and/or indirect reports
