Software Engineer I – SATCOM – C, C++

We have an opportunity for aSoftware Engineer I – SATCOM – C, C++to join our Aerospace team in Brno, Prague or Krakow locations. Our team is developing software for satellite communication devices, where you will have an exciting opportunity to specialize in a relevant industry field and participate in developing the biggest trends in SATCOM.

This is a hybrid role, 3 days in office, 2 from home.

Key Responsibilities

• Software design and implementation – we are working mainly in C and C++, sometimes in Python
• Requirements analysis and development
• Support of systems design
• Cooperation with colleagues from other global teams, mainly with colleagues in UK and Canada

Key requirements

• Engineering degree is required
• Knowledge of C, C++ and/or Python
• English – advanced knowledge
• Proactive approach, candidate open to learn new things
• Long-term interest in developing their career in Honeywell

Nice to Have

• Experience with thread modelling, penetration testing, design considering cybersecurity principles, and/or other tasks related to cybersecurity
