Electrification & Drives Engineering Mgr

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be a design authority for an engineering discipline. Each day, you will complete assignments on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring assignments are completed in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards. The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the Process Automation Process Industries Business Division in Indonesia. You will be mainly accountable for: • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and clients. • Maintain a strategic approach to project engineering, implementation and on-time completion. • Engineering and design of drive solutions (low and medium voltage), with system knowledge on application software development for Pulp & Paper, cement, Metals/Mining Projects • Site installation supervision, commissioning and performance acceptance of drives and control system • Supporting sales team to review functional descriptions and propose optimized solutions as required

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline (B.Sc/ M.Sc/ B.Eng)
• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience with Drive and Automation System integration working experience for projects serving customers in the Pulp & Paper, Cement or Metals/Mining industries and power plant.
• Experience with software and design of e.g. control systems, VVVF applications.
• Engineering and commissioning knowledge of ACS800/ACS880 Single and Multidrive.
• Experience with ABB Control Builder for drive system programming is a plus.
• Engineering and commissioning experience in Pulp & Paper drive systems is also an added advantage.
• Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to adjust priorities quickly.
• Accountable for the quality of deliverables in line with the needs of the customer and regulatory authorities
