Schneider Electric Hub Novi Sad | Research & Engineering Center – EV Connect team

EV Connect is seeking a skilled and motivated Data engineer with 5+ yearsofproven experiencewithend-to-end data solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Senior Data Engineer, you’ll join our Data team to:

• build ourDataplatform
• collect, cleanse, process real timedata
• build the BI and reporting tools that will be used on a daily basis by our business and customers to improve theiroperations
• pave the way to more/most advanced services based on data.
• be involved in all activities from product intake down to liveoperations
• coordinatedata related activities with other teams.
• work closely with DataLeadto review and mature requirements.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Relevant experience as data engineer, with a good sense of ownership… and willingness to “crack” problems and extract value out of raw data.
• At ease with data base querying (SQL & NoSQL)
• Previousexperience in implementing a data architecture and data workflows using AWS Data Stack: S3, Mongo, Redshift (and/or Snowflake), Glue, Lambda functions, EMR, ETL
• Some speak Klingon, you speak Python / Scala
• Experience of Agile anddevOpspractices
• English is our working language… if you made it this far,you’reon goodtracks
• Appetite forteam work
• Experience in setting up data workflow monitoring andalerting
• Experience with Message bus – Kafka, SQS, SNS – and building highly scalable solution is aplus

Qualifications:

• Engineering Degree (Master’slevel preferred) in Computer Science/Data Engineering/Electrical Engineering
• 5+years experiencewith successful positions as Data Engineer
