Job Description
Wood (trading locally as WOOD KSS LLP) is currently looking for Instrument Engineers / Designers (All levels) who are confident working with RoK regulatory requirements (KZ Passport holders) to join our team in Atyrau, Almaty, Astana, Kazakhstan.
Responsibilities
Development of design documentation in accordance with the Law of the RoK 1.02-03-2022 and other regulatory documents of the RoK
Design and develop feasibility studies, projects, detailed documentation. Knowledge of the principles and methods of implementing process control systems for oil, chemical or gas industry facilities
Design of systems: DCS/ESD, F&G system, Telephone communication, Access control, PAGA, CCTV, Local area networks, Building management systems
Design: Connection diagrams, Schematic diagrams, Device layout plans, Cable route layout plans, Device installation drawings, External wiring connection diagrams, Functional requirements specifications, Description of control principles/algorithms, Equipment, product and material specifications, Instrumentation and control data sheets
Qualifications
Experience in the area of specialized software would be an advantage
Knowledge of RoK regulatory documents in the field of instrumentation and automation, automated process control systems (with the SCADA system)
Work with expertise is required
Skills in projects within EPC contract/”turnkey” (Engineering, Supply and Construction)
Qualification certificates
AutoCAD, MS Office
Communication skills, ability to work in a team and independently
