Job Description

Wood (trading locally as WOOD KSS LLP) is currently looking for Electrical Engineers / Designers (All levels) who are confident working with RoK regulatory requirements (KZ Passport holders) to join our team in Atyrau, Almaty, Astana, Kazakhstan.

Responsibilities

Development of design documentation in accordance with the Law of the RoK 1.02-03-2022 and other regulatory documents of the RoK
Develop power supply and lighting schemes, single-line diagrams, equipment layout, cable routes, cable logs, select electrical equipment by loads, grounding, load calculation, etc. 
Design and develop feasibility studies, projects, detailed documentation
Design power electrical equipment, electric lighting, lightning protection and grounding, overhead lines, select routes and laying of trays, laying of cable lines in the ground
Calculate cable cross-sections, voltage loss, lightning protection and grounding, lighting and heating

Qualifications

Experience in the area of specialized software would be an advantage
Knowledge of regulatory documents of the RoK in the field of power supply, Electrical Installation Code are required
Skills in working with expertise
Skills in projects within EPC contract/”turnkey” (Engineering, Supply and Construction)
Qualification certificates   
AutoCAD, MS Office 
Communication skills, ability to work in a team and independently
