Johnson & Johnson MedTech Vision is offering an exciting role for a Project Manager within its Vision supply chain business in the EMEA region as part of the PMO team.

The primary responsibility will be leading Vision projects, with a focus on new product launches in Surgical Vision. This position requires close collaboration with other functional areas such as Distribution, Customer Service, Finance, IT, Quality, Planning, Marketing, Commercial, and Regulatory Affairs, as well as with partners in the US, Switzerland, and Ireland.

The job location is flexible, with a preference for Ireland, the UK, Switzerland, Italy, France, Belgium and Spain, collocated with existing Vision/MedTech offices, although applicants from other countries will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, coordinate and direct efforts of interdisciplinary team responsible for the assessment, process and launch of either existing or new products, business model and go-to-market changes, process, customer service, compliance; logistics & cost improvements, warehouse moves and new service developments.
• Facilitate cross-functional teams to achieve project goals. Collaborate with all required functions (Marketing, Sales, Planning, Suppliers, Supply Chain, Deliver Excellence, Engineering, IT, etc.) that result in successful implementation of projects.
• Organize, lead and control projects, responsible for developing integrated project plans, timelines and resource requirements relating to supply chain and logistics. Coordinate project team and project resource and budget.
• Develop and align Final Project Objectives with project team & sponsor, lead the production of the required deliverables and integrated project plans.
• Handle project risks, including the development of contingency plans, initiating corrective action, flag any risk to sponsor & steering committee in timely manner. Identifying and obtaining any support and advice required for the management, planning and control of the project.
• Connect, influence and communicate with all J&J workstreams to get a comprehensive view of interdependencies (e.g. process, resource, system implication between Supply Chain and other functions to ensure smooth execution of the project). Provide reliable and predictable project communication to the Leadership Team and partnering functions.
• Conducting end project evaluation to identify what can be learnt for future projects and preparing end-project report as well as official handover to base business.

Qualifications:

Education:

A BA or BSc, or equivalent experience, is required. An MSc, MBA, or similar education at the degree level is desirable.

Experience / Skills:

Required:

• Experience in leading multi-functional teams within dynamic settings.
• Expertise in supply chain management and customer service, with a grasp of associated processes.
• A proactive self-starter who consistently meets goals and objectives.
• Skilled in crafting and leading all aspects of project plans, timelines, and resource allocations, as well as aiding in the development of business strategies, including investment appropriation requests.
• Has outstanding written and verbal communication.
• Strong commercial and financial competence.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and Gantt chart utilization is needed.

Preferred:

Accreditation from a recognized project management organization or FPX certification.

The candidate must have the ability to influence, and be able to communicate relevant news back to the business.

Experience in a regulated industry and a thorough understanding of the associated regulations, guidelines, and processes is desirable.
