The Purpose of the Role
Project Engineer II is responsible for assisting the Engineering Manager and Project Management Leader with the Technical delivery of assigned projects using value engineering.
Responsibilities:
• Ensures that required prerequisites (e.g., design inputs, tools, documentation, deliverables, schedule, and budget) are in place prior to commencing work.
• Produces functional design specifications or coaches project engineers in preparing them.
• Produces technical detail design specifications.
• Executes work assignments (implementation, testing, and documentation) to appropriate standards and global process methodology (GPM).
• Has an excellent understanding of Honeywell tools and procedures.
• Coaches and supports assigned project application engineers to ensure they can meet the requirements of their work assignments.
• Distributes the required activities among project-assigned engineers and leads the technical part of the project.
• Assists the project manager and procurement team during the procurement process by preparing technical specifications.
• Assists the sales team during customer visits and the bidding phase technically.
• Monitors and controls assigned work scope against the project execution plan.
• Effectively communicates with customers to fully define and agree on project requirements.
• Proactively recommends potential quality and efficiency improvements within the engineering group.
• Shares technical knowledge with the project team, supervisor, own discipline, and other engineering disciplines.
• Reports progress and technical problems to the project and engineering supervisor.
We Value:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Control Engineering, System Engineering or similar.
• Minimum 5 years of project/service engineering experience in Distributed Control Systems, Programmable Logic Controllers, HMI graphics, industrial communication protocols (Modbus, OPC, Profibus, Profinet etc).
• Good understanding of industrial network basics
• Fluency in both spoken and written English and Azerbaijani.
• Excellent technical documentation and reporting skills
• Being a great team member.
• Good communication skills.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications at high level.
• Proficiency in using Autocad, MS Visio.
• Experience on using programming languages (visual basic, java) is an advantage.
• Strong customer relations and targeting high customer satisfaction levels.
