Under the direction ofEngineering Manager, theProject Engineeris responsible for projects are related toindustrial furnaces, steel, aluminum, and strip processing manufacturers.

Requirements

Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Key Result Items

• Review technical requirements of sales contract,
• Communicate required scope with engineering department,
• Monitor engineering progress for technical requirements and schedule.
• Approve and release final design packages to logistics.
• Track progress on procurement and manufacturing,
• Final inspections of equipment.
• Support customer through installation and commissioning
• Approximately 25% domestic/international travelis required including potential for longer duration travel associated with startup/commissioning duties. Must be physically capable to performrequired activities associated with onsite work.

Technology

• Experience designing with CAD software such as Solid Edge and AutoCAD.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft office products.

Education and Experience

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering
• EIT or PE certification a plus.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in design, project engineering and start-up of similar equipment.
• Experience with coil processing and finishing line equipment in the steel and aluminum industries.
• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic systems, and mechanical design required.
