Product Manager – Digital Solutions

If you are a Product Manager professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Houston, TX or Minneapolis, MN location this role will lead Measurement Systems and Services (MSS) Digital Solutions product portfolio. This position will understand and communicate value to our customers, internal and external.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Set marketing strategies through continuous assessment of customer value levers, market price environment, gross profit/value analysis, application segment analysis, customer needs, and sales tools to communicate customer value.
• Serve the MSS sales channel as a primary customer – create content and maintain close contact with global sales organization to ensure the promotion of Digital Solutions
• Maintain, add to, and ensure adequate access for both internal and external collateral such as engineered solutions reference lists, brochures, Quantified Business Results, web presence, Sales Portal sites, social media posts, and presentations.
• Align with and work toward fulfillment of marketing and product management strategies for MSS Digital Solutions that aligns with MSOL Integrated Marketing, Lifecycle Services, MSS Engineered Solutions, and other Business Units.
• Lead the MSS, Digital Solutions new product development process to address customer and market needs, fill product line gaps, and provide business growth.
• Perform market analysis to identify new business opportunities, monitor market trends and market participation. Make recommendations for improvements in business strategies to improve MSS market penetration.
• Contribute to and lead, where necessary, the formulation of regular reporting initiatives such as the MSS Strategic Plan, Board Meetings, VCC Meetings, etc.
• Coordinate MSS involvement in, prepare materials for, and attend various trade shows that deliver impact and return on investment.
• Perform additional marketing and product management responsibilities as assigned, which may not be explicitly mentioned.
• Leadership of AI/ML product innovation and deployment in Plantweb Metrology Advisor and Emerson Metering Suite platforms. Coordination with Measurement Solutions data science teams in key initiatives
• Ownership of cybersecurity engagements in MSS including implementation of initiatives in line with IEC 62443 standards

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 7+ years of product management experience in industrial software or digital solutions
• Demonstrated understanding of AI/ML applications in industrial settings
• Experience with cybersecurity frameworks and standards
• Strong technical competence and ability to translate complex concepts for various audiences
• Understand of Industrial AI/ML applications, cloud computing platforms, IEC 62443 and other relevant security standards, data analytics and visualization, industrial protocols and communication standards, and DevSecOps practices

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Master’s degree in relevant field
• Experience with metrology systems or flow measurement
• Knowledge of industrial automation and IIoT platforms
• Background in developing AI/ML-powered products
• Understanding of OT security requirements and standards
• Experience with agile development methodologies
