As the Product Engineering Manager, you will lead the Engineering Department at our Pearland, TX, manufacturing facility. Reporting directly to the Site General Manager and serving as a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for developing strategy, overseeing support activities, and managing the planning and design of product development initiatives. You will also provide direction and mentorship to the Engineering Department staff.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
• Manages all solutions support activities, including the pre-sales scoping process and the post-sales design and implementation activities for complex technical products.
• Coordinates sales demo preparation and delivery and facilitates technical requirements gathering sessions.
• Ensures the review of customer technical specifications is accurate and provides solid recommendations of specific products or services.
• Supports the engineering functions of R&D, Operations, and Quality.
• Leads the planning and design of product configuration, custom solutions, enhancements, or upgrades and directs the delivery of problem resolution, repairs, or workarounds.
• Maintains awareness of innovative technologies and evaluates and implements new technologies into product designs and manufacturing processes.
• Assures that engineering standards and manufacturing procedures are developed and maintained; assures proper control of changes.
• May deliver technical product training or information sessions to customers and internal audiences.
• Develops and maintains a competent and motivated technical staff.
• Ensures that project/department achievements/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.

For This Role, You Will Need:
• Associates Degree required
• Eight (8) years of related experience
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
• Bachelor’s Degree, Engineering, or technical field preferred
• Five (5) years of supervisory experience preferred
• Piping Experience
• Welding Experience
• MLI Experience
• Float Based Experience
