We are currently seeking a(New Grad) Process Design Engineerto join ourProcess EngineeringTeam based inClaremont, CA.
About the Job
The Process Engineer will be involved in analysis and design of high temperature process equipment and systems for a variety of applications in the chemical, metallurgical, and environmental fields.
• Perform engineering analysis and design of process equipment and systems under the direction of project lead engineers as directed by an engineering and technology manager.
• Prepare documented calculations, analysis, and design work, and check calculations performed by others in accordance with company and department procedures.
• Evaluate engineering problems related to equipment design and process systems and present the findings in the form of technical reports and presentations.
• Prepare technical specifications for process equipment and systems.
• Evaluate the suitability of process equipment to meet specified requirements and prepare technical comparisons of various options.
• Provide engineering input for equipment and process design drawings and coordinate with CAD designers in the generation of drawings.
• Review design drawings for accuracy and compliance with company, department, and project procedures and requirements.

About You
We’d love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
• You have achieved your Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical Engineering.
• You have:Excellent problem-solving skills.Advanced written and verbal communication skills using the English language.Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required.Ability and motivation to work with moderate supervision to produce on-time results.Basic working knowledge of computer assisted design (CAD) software, fluid dynamics and related software (Ansys Fluent, Star CCM, etc.)Interest to work and contribute within a multi-disciplinary team structure toward a common goal.Demonstrated enthusiasm for acquiring knowledge and learning new skills.
Salary Range:
$75K – $85K
