In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Define optimal work processes for each product manufactured in the assembly area.
• Prepare, when necessary, cost analyses of products manufactured or to be manufactured in the Company.
• Define the theoretical capacity of the processes and demonstrate their actual capacity.
• Conduct capacity studies for new equipment when necessary.
• Propose cost reduction initiatives in the operation.
• Implement layouts, systems, equipment, and operating methods to improve productivity with the highest quality and at the lowest cost.
• Monitor the creation of favorable physical conditions for improving productivity and efficiency indicators
• Define and monitor the implementation of best practices using Lean Manufacturing methodologies
• KPI compliance
• Ensure that the information contained in procedures, documents, and plant operations is compatible with technical documentation
• Practice and promote the 5s+1 and participate in improvement projects

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Mechanical, industrial, or related engineering
• More than 10 years of experience in the metalworking industry
• Experience operating numerical control equipment
• Experience operating CNC and transfer equipment
• Experience in thread machining standards for different types of alloys
• GD&T / geometric tolerances
• Implementation of standards regarding the validation of the correct cutting tool and setup
• Define ideal process parameters to reduce scrap and increase efficiency
• Design and validation of fixtures, nests, and clamps
• Optimize cycle time by increasing fixture configurations/cavities
• Improve process efficiency through rapid SMED changeovers and time reduction Setup
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing concepts
• Teamwork
• Work under pressure
• Intermediate-advanced Office suite
• Knowledge of design software, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CamWorks
• Intermediate-advanced English
