As a Lead Project Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in leading and managing engineering projects in Geismar, Louisiana. You will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet the required quality standards. Your expertise in project management and technical leadership will be essential in driving successful project outcomes.
You will report directly to our Capital Portfolio Manager with a Matrix to the Site Capital Leader and work out of our Geismar, Louisiana location on a hybrid work schedule.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead and manage engineering projects from initiation to completion using Honeywell’s CPMP process in a chemical manufacturing facility to ensure successful execution and delivery
• Develop project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and budgets
• Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
• Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure adherence to timelines and budgets
• Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery
• Communicate project updates and address stakeholder concerns
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes and practices

YOU MUST HAVE
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project engineering or related roles
• Strong project management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
