Wood is currently recruiting for a Lead level Asset Management, Risk, Reliability and Maintenance consultant to join our Digital Advisory team. Wood is providing professional domain services to support all areas of asset management, reliability, maintenance, and sparing. The team supports wood delivery and client engagements to realize the best value for the engagement and developing opportunities. 
This role can be based in Brisbane and is offered as a full-time permanent staff position reporting to the APAC Maintenance Consultancy Manager.

Our ideal candidate will lead the client technical engagement along with the development and delivery of asset management, asset performance management, reliability and engineering solutions addressing client needs within the APAC region alongside the wider Wood business. You will provide specialist knowledge and technical project management input, assurance and guidance and act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in your area of specialisation. You will also be key in providing technical services to our clients and work collaboratively with our technology partners in the areas of asset management, risk, maintenance and reliability engineering.

Responsibilities

Typical Responsibilities

Contribute to marketing and business development, undertaking APAC and global market analyses to identify opportunities and contribute to marketing, BD support material, proposals and client meetings
Ongoing client contact and management with responsibility for specific client’s and ongoing relationships with technology partners
Provide technical leadership and delivery in either or all asset management, risk, maintenance & reliability engineering, sparing and operations readiness project scopes or initiatives
Identify and convert potential value opportunities for clients either through Wood project and service opportunities, to widen the portfolio of long-term business relationships
Oversee and contribute to the preparation of proposals
Assist with professional development of engineers and consultants by sharing specific skills and knowledge through structured and unstructured programs
Assist in the training, development and competency of Wood clients and staff to develop their skills and maintain industry-leading knowledge in their areas of technical responsibility

As a member of the team, you will need to have and demonstrate:

Engineering degree from a recognised university or college in a relevant discipline
+10 years engineering and consulting experience in asset intensive industries
Proven track record of technical delivery and client management
Proven experience in operations and maintenance activities and practices on operating assets in Mining, Energy, and related sectors
Good understanding of RAM Modelling, RCM, FRACAS, LCC, FMECA, LoRA and other asset related techniques
Well-developed computer skills and knowledge of databases, spreadsheets and typical reliability engineering and assets
Strong knowledge of the regional and global market and relevant industries such as Oil & Gas, Power, Mining, Infrastructure
Ability to develop and maintain client relationships on the basis of technical credibility and project delivery record
Demonstrated experience in undertaking business development activities to acquire new work
Ability to structure and organise workflow, including appropriate delegation to internal stakeholders
Demonstrated experience in team leadership, analytical, solutions driven
Ability to influence and inspire confidence around technical solutions and demonstrate innovative solutions and thought processes
