We have an opportunity for aJunior Systems Engineer – Innovative Avionicstojoin our Honeywell team in Brno. This is a hybrid role, 3 days in office, 2 from home.

Key responsibilities:
System Definition, Design, and Development
• Collaborate with lead engineers to provide technical input for aircraft-specific development. Work closely with the aircraft systems team to manage design variations and ensure proper configurations, while keeping communication open with the aircraft manufacturer.Help prepare for and support preliminary and critical design reviews by contributing to aircraft specifications.
• Make sure all aircraft-specific requirements are clearly documented and meet both internal standards and those of the aircraft manufacturer. Participate in internal change control activities, report issues, and help coordinate software fixes with the product engineering teams.
Integration, Test, and Delivery
• Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure work is delivered on time, within scope, and meets quality expectations. Help manage system status updates.
• Work directly with customer teams and on-site engineers to resolve testing issues. Coordinate with technical leads and subject matter experts to implement fixes and support technical discussions with the customer.
• Provide guidance for bench testing, support upgrades and maintenance, and ensure test benches are available and properly used across programs.
Key requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, or related field
• Experience in avionics systems engineering with good knowledge of system/software/hardware development processes.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
• Advanced experience using MS Office package and knowledge of Matlab/Simulink.
• Advanced command of English language.
