The Role 

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced I & C Engineer with a proven track record in understanding of the complexities involved in large-scale Gas Processing projects to meet objectives for a high-profile client.

The key objective for this role: 

This role will be responsible for leading the change process and deliverables for a specific project. The change management engineer will play a key role in ensuring user adoption, focusing on the people side of change, including changes to business, processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structure.

Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

Undertake I & C design work of units as required, supervise and check works of assigned engineers on the project as appropriate
Execute Instrumentation engineering activities within the budget and schedule, as well as maintaining technical integrity of the design
Ensure that detail design methods, standards and data used conform with Client’s requirements and / or those issued
Competent in the use of relevant software and Instrumentation & Control discipline specific software.
Review and approve I & C Diagrams, P&IDs, PSFS, DPTDs, Equipment & Instrument specifications, Instrumentation Descriptions, cause, and Effect chart etc.
Review and approve dynamic simulation study, transient study, surge study, Minimum Metal Design Temperature (MDMT) study, etc.
Review and approve depressurization studies, flare load estimation and flare system design
Ensure a high standard of safety is achieved and Environmental and Quality Assurance procedures are followed
Review and approve safety related calculations and provide input to HAZOP, SIL and other safety reviews as require
Identifying new methodology of work instrumentation required for higher productivity
Contribute where necessary to review of supplier quotations and reviews of the project
Ensure that requirements of Licensor’s Secrecy Agreements are known and complied within the work performed
Participate in technical meetings and handle discussions with client engineers
Identification of issues that impede project progress and reporting to Project Managers, Engineering Manager / Discipline heads
Be willing to mentor and engage in the training and development of junior engineers in the team
Assist project team in the preparation of planning package, scheduling, weekly reporting etc.
Assist as required in the preparation of pre – commissioning, commission procedures and operating Manuals
Provided assistance in Manhours estimation and scheduling for proposals

Expected: 

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related.
8 yrs + experience in Instrumentation and Control Engineer.
A solid understanding of organizational change
Excellent active listening skills
Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
Ability to engage with senior leadership
Excellent written communication and presentation skills
Resilient with ability to work with challenging stakeholders who are often averse to change
Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with others
