JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Plant electric power distribution systems (EPDS) design including nuclear (NI) and turbine island (TI), balance of plant (BOP), and interface to switchyard and grid. Scope includes safety-related (S-R) or Safety Class 1 (SC1), augmented quality or SC2 and SC3, and nonsafety-related (NSR) systems for; advanced light water reactor (ALWR) [focus on BWRX-300] and advanced liquid metal reactor (ALMR) [Natrium] for commercial nuclear power plants and test facilities.

JOB DESCRIPTION

In this role, you will:

• Design and analyze AC and DC electrical systems using tools likeETAPfor simulations.
• Create and maintain technical documents, including electrical diagrams (single-line, three-line, etc.) usingAutoCADorVisio.
• Manage project phases from initial design (FEED) to final implementation.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., IEEE, IEC).
• Manage requirements and configurations using tools likeDOORS-NextGen.
• Manage documents and bill of materials using tools likeENOVIA

Required Skills:

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with heavy electrical equipment and systems.
• Proficiency in electrical system simulation (e.g.,ETAP).
• Experience with CAD software (e.g.,AutoCAD,Inventor).
• Experience with standard office software (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Strong English and Polish language skills.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with requirements management software.
• Experience with data collaboration software likeConfluence.
• Experience with other simulation tools likeSimulink-MATLAB.
• Project management certification (PMP).
• Knowledge of quality improvement methodologies (LEAN, DMAIC).
