As aSupplier Quality / Performance Engineering, you will provide expertise, and support throughout EMEA region, and highlights risks and concerns in Supply Chain relating to Quality, Service level, Compliance and overall supplier performance.
A strong focus will be on ensuring the quality of products delivered by suppliers is aligned with design specifications, standards and procedures, and coordinating the qualification, development and improvement of suppliers to achieve the critical metric objectives.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
• Adheres to the Safety-first culture to achieve Zero accidents in the workplace, reinforces our Quality culture to achieve Zero-defects by following procedures, reporting quality issues and contributing to problem solving initiatives.
• Leads multi-functional Material Review Board meetings to agree material dispositions, collaborates with multi-functional teams including, Technical Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Quality, Customer Care etc.
• Responsible for immediate action on problems caused by suppliers, identifying the root cause and implementing effective corrective and preventive actions to minimize the impact on the business.
• Coordinates efforts with other work groups and suppliers in understanding inspection methods/issues.
• Advanced Quality Planning (AQP) Process – to deliver guaranteed quality and short lead times for source changes, product transfers and new product implementation.
• Performs Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) to qualify parts for New Product Development, New supply, and Quality issues.
• Carries out supplier quality management system approval audits to highlight supplier risks within supply chain and work with suppliers to improve processes and procedures to meet the requirements of the audits.
• Develop suppliers in structured problem solving and continuous improvement methods such as Lean and Six Sigma so that can improve their performance to Emerson.
• Collaborate on Supplier Performance Business Reviews with other Supply Chain functions to share expectations, strengthen relationships, and charter joint projects to deliver mutual benefits.
• Leads projects or Strategic Initiatives to solve problems or improve business performance.
• Highlight’s problems, risks and concerns and applies Continuous Improvement methods (Lean, Six Sigma) to solve problems and improve performance.
• Develops and conducts training as required for either Emerson or supplier personnel.

• Education: Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or Business
• Minimum four years experience in a relevant field ( Supplier Quality / Performance, Engineering, Auditing, ISO Quality Management System).
• Travel: Available for domestic / international travel as required
• Language skills: English (advanced)
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt is an advantage.
