Based in our Boulder, Colorado location, lead a small team of electrical engineers in developing and deploying test systems worldwide.In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Develop functional test systems for electronic transmitters
• Supervise a small team of electrical engineers
• Work with electronic suppliers to deploy testers (some travel required)
• Troubleshoot electronics
• Design circuits and build schematics for test systems
• Receive project assignment and acquire a complete understanding of the nature and scope of the project
• Assist in determining the technical design criteria for the project
• Research and compile appropriate background information for the project, including past designs, materials, specifications, and governing code requirements
• Prepare schematic designs for the project based on rough sketches and notes provided by others
• Coordinate with other disciplines involved in the project as necessary
• Attend progress briefings and coordination checks to discuss the engineering effort and project status
• Document all design criteria, calculations performed, and decisions made

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
• A minimum of 5 years professional/post-college work experience required
• Must have a strong technical background in the appropriate engineering field, and the interest and ability to pursue engineering and development projects
• Familiar with test equipment (Oscilloscopes, Digital multi-meters)
• Legal authorization to work in the United States – Sponsorship will not be provided for this position

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Some applied engineering experience preferred
• Experience with Circuit simulation software (PSpice) or Cadence
• Experience with LabVIEW a plus

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is$107,400 – $150,000annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
