Job Description:
Are you an early-career Electrical Engineer who’s excited about automation, machine controls, and hands-on experience with systems that ship all over the world? We’re looking for a passionate Electrical Controls Engineer to join our team and grow their skills while supporting the design, programming, and commissioning of world-class packaging machinery.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Assist with design and programming of control systems for Filler, Capper, and Can Seamer equipment.
• Support debugging, testing, and commissioning of machinery both in our facilities and at customer sites.
• Participate in installation and qualification trips, typically 1–2 weeks in duration, both domestically and internationally.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Project Management, and other key teams to ensure equipment meets customer specifications and regulatory requirements.
What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university, or related field
• 1+ of relevant experience or strong internship/co-op background in industrial automation, machine design, or similar environment, preferably with packaging equipment
• Exposure to PLC and HMI programming (Rockwell Studio 5000, FactoryTalk, or similar platforms).
• Familiarity with servo and variable frequency drive systems (e.g., PowerFlex, Kinetix, Bosch).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.

• Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% (international and domestic); valid U.S. passport required or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment.
Nice to Have (Not Required)
• Experience with AutoCAD Electrical.
• Basic knowledge of machine safety standards (e.g., ANSI, ISO, NFPA, UL, CE).
• Familiarity with networking protocols like Ethernet IP, IO Link, ProfiNet, or EtherCAT.
• Exposure to automated motion platforms such as Rockwell, Bosch Rexroth, Siemens, or B&R.
