In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Development of specific hardware and embedded software products.
• Experience in schematic design, layout fundamentals and the interfaces between computer hardware and measurement electronics.
• Learn professional techniques and practices for design, simulation, assembly, and test.
• Perform research as required to complete your projects.
• Work and interact with a wide variety of geographically distributed R&D staff.
• Diagnose and debug technical challenges with your project.
• Test your design using a hardware prototype.
• Develop software for testing your project.
• Implement and test your design using CAD and synthesis software tools.
• Review and approve product specifications and customer user documentation for the product

For This Role, You Will Need:

• B.S. in computer science, computer engineering, electrical/computer engineering, electrical engineering, or electronics engineering
• Strong understanding of computers and high-level programming languages, including VHDL and/or C/C++
• Thorough understanding of the following concepts and principles: Digital circuit design, simulation and validation; finite state machines; high-level synthesis of language representations to various hardware architectures including FPGAs; computer system architecture and organization; integration of hardware and software
• Demonstrated ability to:Work effectively in a group development environmentDiagnose technical issues and propose reasonable solutions; enjoy problem solvingTake initiative, be a self-starter, and work independently
• English proficiency

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• FPGA Design, Xilinx Vivado workflow
• Experience with Embedded Software (Linux)
• Schematic Capture and Layout
• Understanding of transmission lines and Signal Integrity
