Overview

We are currently seeking an experiencedControls Engineerto support commissioning and finalisation activities on a short-term assignment in Iraq. This position is critical for validating control systems and closing out remaining commissioning punch list items, particularly related tochiller and dryer unit controls.

SCOPE OF WORK

Punch List Closure

• Identify and resolve outstanding I&C-related punch list items.
• Verify and document corrective action completions.
• Ensure system compliance with design, functional, and operational standards.

Logic Verification – Chillers & Dryers

• Conduct detailed verification of control logic for chiller and dryer systems.
• Validate control sequences, interlocks, setpoints, alarms, and safety functions.
• Collaborate with OEM representatives and site engineers to troubleshoot and optimise system performance.
• Document all findings and provide technical recommendations or required modifications.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience incontrol systems engineering, preferably in oil & gas, power, or industrial HVAC projects.
• Strong knowledge of PLC/DCS platforms such asSiemens, Allen-Bradley, or Honeywell.
• Hands-on experience withchiller and dryer control systemsis highly desirable.
• Skilled in interpretingP&IDs, control narratives, and technical schematics.
• Familiarity withsite commissioning protocolsand strong HSE awareness.
• Excellent diagnostic, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Must be available and willing tomobilise to Iraq by 7th July.
