Job Summary
Candidate will work out of Fori’s Shelby Twp. Michigan facility and will report to the Controls Manager – AGV business Unit.
Job Duties and Responsibilites
• Support configuration and commissioning of AGVs and AGV systems.
• Perform start up and stand by support of the completed system equipment.
• Network configuration. Local AGV network configuration as well as customer and third-party interfaces.
• Document and maintain information for current projects.
• Candidate shall be required to read JIC and ISO electrical prints.
• Candidate shall understand ladder logic, HMI and text-based programming.
• Work well with others, including manufacturing and field service departments.
• Understand system layouts, equipment designations and mechanical function of equipment.
Education and Experience
• A background in controls design and PC & PLC programming.
• Knowledge and experience with Siemens Step 7, TIA Portal, Rockwell Logix5000
• HMI updates and development is a plus.
• Experience with wired and wireless networking.
• Hands on experience with equipment startup and/or mechatronics study.
• Minimum of 2-year degree in applicable study. (CS, EE, Mechatronics).
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the industry.
