JOB DESCRIPTION

For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $108,800 – $163,200 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. What Do You Do Every Day?

• Become a trusted advisor with assignedElectrical Consultants(power system designers),End Users, or Municipal Accountsacross several market segments to influence and guide the design ofcomplex digitally connected electrical distribution
• Solution sales comprised ofMedium Voltage, Low Voltage Distribution, Motor Control, Power Switching (ASCO), Digital Power, Services and Power Monitoringengineered-to-order equipmentused to distribute, monitor, automate and control a customer’s electrical network.
• Provide insights to the Product Linesrelative to industry trends, competitors’ actions, and code trends.Translate customer needs to tie inother Schneider Electric business units(BU).
• Advanced to expert understandingof Schneider Electric’s software, cloud analytics and services story for owners as it relates to their own digital and sustainability goals.
• ConnectElectrical Consulting firms and End Usersto cutting-edge offers, applications and tools to help them achieve their project milestones.
• Consult withC-Level Executives,Principals,Lead Electrical Engineers, and keyStaff Engineersto bring awareness of Schneider Electric innovations to market and where specification influence is key.
• Work with teams ofSales, Strategic Accounts, Business Development, Services, Industrial Automation Specialists, Application Engineers,andProduct Linesto deliver solutions that solve customer needs.
• Interpretelectrical plansandspecificationsto provide accurate pre-sales application and technical support by recommending solutions to meet customer’s project needs.
• Drive strategic growthat assigned accounts. This role serves as the lead interface fordemand generation for Electrical Consultantsin the marketplace. The Consultant Application Engineer’s specification efforts should directly position Schneider Electric to win orders prior to projects going out for bid.
• LeverageCustomer Relationship Management (CRM)tools to help map the deal landscape to assist teams from specification to closure with emphasis on target accounts and segments.
• Represent Schneider Electric at various local and regional technical groups and industry events.

Who are we looking for? – This job might be for you if:

• 6+ years relevant design, application or sales experience in Power Distribution preferred.
• A bachelor’s degree inElectrical Engineeringis preferred. A Professional Engineering (P.E.) license is a plus.
• Advanced experience inelectrical distributionorenergy management industries
• Advanced experienceC-Suite executive relationship building.You are fluent inconsultative sales methodologies.
• Experience with any of the following: low voltage electrical distribution, medium voltage electrical distribution equipment, automation, controls, or energy management technologies. Familiarity withSquare D Power Distribution Equipmentsuch as busway, panelboards, transformers, switchboards, electrical components, surge protective devices, paralleling switchgear, services, and software preferred.
