Responsibilities
What makes you remarkable?PrioritySupport The Client PM on data centre newbuild and fitout projects Act as the technical POC for local teams and connect with cross functional teams (Engineering and IT Operations Teams) Support Regional PM for end-to-end responsibility from planning to handover of the fit out works on siteResolve issues promptly based on technical requirements or escalate accordinglyEnsure work is performed safely with high quality of workmanshipCommunicate clearly with stakeholders about project goals and updatesCoordinate teams across different offices and time zonesReport on project progress and maintain stakeholder engagementFacilitate Kick off Meetings, progress reviews and conduct Site-walksResolve critical issues while adhering to timelines and budgetsSecondaryDesign and develop Key Telecoms Drawings & Documents i.e. Standards & Specifications, System Block Diagrams, Layout drawings, Calculations (e.g. radio traffic, PABX traffic)Review and approve all telecoms drawings / documents and check the design quality and technical accuracy on assigned projectResolve technical issues with respect to Telecommunication systemPrepare material requisitions for electrical equipment, technical bid evaluations, and review suppliers’ documentsAttend Factory Acceptance Test (FAT’s) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT’s) for Telecoms equipment on assigned projectAssist the electrical designers with the preparation of electrical / telecoms drawingsReview, comment, and input the project scheduleProvide information to project cost estimate (e.g. manpower, manhour required for execution of work)Site checking and verificationPreparation of specification for installation and test proceduresConstruction supervision, testing, and commissioning support
Qualifications
Bachelor in Telecommunication Engineering with at least 10 years of experience. At least 5 years’ experience in the fieldProven track record in a similar position, with a strong background in Telecommunication engineering in Refinery Petrochemical / Chemical / Power / Pharmaceutical Plant or Data Center ProjectsKnowledge in international codes & standardsHave extensive experiences in Telecommunication System Design (e.g. PA / GA, Telephone, Talk-Back, WAN / LAN, CCTV, Radio (Tower / Antenna, UHF, VHF, VoIP, DTRS), Access Control, Network IT, Security and Control Systems.Ability to Managing multiple parties, vendors, stakeholders and priorities with various milestonesAbility to detail orientate and organize in your approach to project management Ability to think, analyze and problem solve in high pressure situationsAbility to multitask and prioritize tasks to complete within specified deadlines Flexible approach and able to work under pressure with a can-do attitude and a desire to winAbility to promote an open and informal communication environment that aims at growing mutual trust and teamworkHighly motivated, well organized, resourceful, and proactivePossess good interpersonal skills with good written and spoken in English
