Responsibilities

What makes you remarkable?

Provide input to project innovation reviews or delegate where appropriate
Prepare detail plans and project procedures, start up plans and develops operating procedures
Ensure that site project execution is undertaken in compliance with company and department procedures and commissioning schedules and that environmental and safety standards are maintained
Provide performance and other project data for incorporation into the groups technical library Organise day to day activities of commissioning Engineers and Process Engineers assigned to site and carry out detailed plant checkout against engineering flow diagrams
Act as day to day coordinator between client and Foster Wheeler Construction personnel on commissioning matters
Assist with client (operations) training and direct or advise Client’s staff with regard to correct Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning and start up procedures
Investigate technical problems with assistance from FW specialist engineers and suppliers
Prepare, or assist in preparing, guarantee tests, and completion documentation and Client hand-over and with completion of contract custody transfer documents as appropriate
Prepare a final report to include summary of problems, solutions, and recommendations for future improvements
Prepare a Site Closeout Report and review performance progress with COMT Manager
Ensure commissioning related experience and knowledge gained on projects is captured and incorporated into future projects Wheeler design methods, standards and data

Qualifications

Degree qualified in Chemica/Mechanical Engineering and ideally a Chartered Engineer
Minimum 15 years of relevant experience
Previous experience in refinery is expected, with proven process engineering design experience and demonstrable expertise in commissioning gained through project execution within a major multi-national contractor, operator or consultancy
Excellent communication skills
Demonstrate technical expertise on all all process and commissioning aspects of Refining/ Petrochemical/Oil and Gas & LNG
Commissioning and process engineering experience in both a home office and site environment
