Key responsibilities:
• Lead BIM Modelling and CAD Operators team, tracking team utilization VS AOP to maintain it and overachieve.
• Deployment of standard project estimation and execution
• Problem solving, strategic handling of major projects escalations.
• Project execution activities quality assurance and tracking of delivery VS planned dates and estimated labour hours.
• Lead the team delivering assigned scopes at committed times, within quality standards.
• Lead the team to Study and Evaluate BIM Modelling/CAD Drafting scopes, understanding all technical drawings, documents, products, components, application and any revisions thereon.
• Guide build-up of BIM Modelling Families/Libraries and CAD Drafting Libraries, and project database.
• Drive project specific technical discussions and deploy standard engineering process.
• Looking after BIM Modelling and CAD Drafting scope growth and extend team’s engagement in projects globally.
• Work on scope discussions make sure of team’s accurate understanding of the solution requirement to ensure accurate workable engineering design that is complying to project’s specifications.
• Ensure of proper labour estimation.
• Follow on and provide project reporting thread with multiple high level/low level reporting styles
• Look after team quality, qualifications development and team growth.
• Perform team trainings and follow up on team’s knowledge gaining and experience development.
• Arrange and perform technical cross-knowledge trainings.
• Set standards of technical BIM Modelling and CAD Drafting interviewing process, standards and perform in-depth experience check for potential candidates.
• Develop and implement standardized processes, tools, and systems for BIM and CAD operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and coordination across projects.
• Drive efficiency and effectiveness in modeling and drafting processes.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
• Monitor and analyze performance metrics to measure team effectiveness.
• Lead, mentor, QC and develop team members to achieve project goals.
Key qualifications:
• Degree in an Engineering discipline; Architecture, Electrical, Mechatronics or Mechanical.
• HAVC and Light Current Solutions background is a must
• 3+ years of experience in supporting building solutions.
• Experience in BIM modeling and CAD operations (typically 3+ years).
• Diploma in BIM Modeling
• Strong project management skills and experience leading technical teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in implementing and managing design models or similar initiatives.
• Knowledge of best practices in technical functions and design processes.⁽¹⁾
• Advanced understanding of HVAC process, Building Automation, Energy Management, or LV systems.
• Rigid experience of handling CAD drawings and ability to analyse technical details of system drawings and schematics, with advanced understanding of mechanical and electrical symbols.
• Six Sigma training or similar process improvement certification is a plus.
• Experience of MS Visio is a plus
