Job Purpose:

To provide technical leadership in the design and execution of industrial automation projects focused on fixed gas detection systems, Fire Alarm Control Panel (Addressable), Fire Extinguishing Release Panel and Control & Safety systems. The role involves end-to-end engineering responsibility from technical documentation to system design and FAT/SAT support, with emphasis on delivering high-quality, compliant solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of engineering deliverables related to Honeywell Gas Detection instruments (HGAS), Addressable control panels and Control & Safety systems.
• Coordinate closely with End users, EPC and suppliers/key stakeholders to ensure all technical requirements are met on time and within budget.
• Prepare technical documentation including ITPs, datasheets, GA drawings, loop diagrams, and riser diagram
• Design and Engineering of Fire Alarm Control Panels (FACP) and Fire & Extinguishing Control Panels (FECP) based on project specifications.
• Select appropriate hardware components (F&G devices, PLCs, relays, I/O modules) based on project specifications.
• Develop and support control system architecture for integrated solutions.
• Lead or support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and technical reviews with customers.
• Support procurement and integration of 3rd party systems as required.
• Liaise with proposal teams for estimation and technical clarifications during bidding phase
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation for reporting and auditing purpose.
• Ensure deliverables meet Honeywell quality standards and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors/integrators for technical clarifications.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong expertise in Fixed Gas Detection Systems (Searchline, Sensepoint, XNX, etc.).
• Sound working knowledge of PLC & Safety systems (Honeywell/Allen Bradley/Siemens or equivalent).
• Practical experience in FACP/FECP panel design and engineering.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/EPLAN for panel design and GA drawings.
• Knowledge of relevant standards: NFPA, IEC, EN, ATEX, SIL, IEC 61508/61511.
• Strong communication, documentation, and leadership skills.
