Applications and Systems Engineer

As a Senior Applications Engineer, you will play a critical role in helping customers maximize the value of OptimalPlus GO. Your technical expertise and customer-centric approach will ensure the successful implementation and adoption of our software solutions. Come join our team!

IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

• Customer CollaborationPartner with customers to understand their unique requirements and challenges.Work cross-functionally to design and deliver customized solutions that meet customer needs.
• Analytics & Rule DevelopmentDevelop and enhance analytic dashboards that provide actionable insights.Create and maintain custom rules to detect anomalies, trends, and opportunities in customer data.
• Technical Support & Case ManagementInvestigate and resolve technical issues reported by customers.Deliver timely, effective support to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Account Growth & ExpansionIdentify opportunities for account growth and expansion.Recommend additional features, modules, or services that align with customer objectives.

WHO YOU ARE:

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering or Technical/Design
• Familiarity with semiconductor yield management and product/test engineering.
• Legal Authorization to work in the United States – sponsorship will not be provided for this role
• Proficiency in Python, R, and JavaScript.
• Understanding of machine learning concepts, including model building and generation.
• Experience in designing and building dashboards using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Ability to analyze complex datasets and derive actionable insights.
• Knowledge of software development best practices and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Experience working in Agile or cross-functional team environments.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:

• Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering or Technical/Design
• Strong teamwork and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with yield management tools.

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is $130,000 – $140,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
