Key Responsibilities

• Technical Skills

oHas knowledge/experience of C and C++ for embedded applications

oContributing to planning and executing project subtasks to meet customer specifications (designing, testing, etc).

oAssists in the completion of products to achieve certification and customer acceptance.

oMay support other Engineers, Technicians and Associates to ensure project and product compliance.

• Communication Skills

oContributes to project status and process presentations for leadership and external customers.

oInterfaces with vendors and suppliers to ensure product and project compliance.

oCommunicates any non-compliance and the results of any internal project audits to pertinent parties.

• Leadership Skills

oEstablishes and applies methodology to new concepts and recommends enhancements to advance projects and processes.

oMay assist in developing Aerospace Engineering processes and guidelines.

Must Have Skills

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience and 2-4 years of relevant experience
• Experience of C and C++ for embedded applications

Desirable

• Experience as software design engineer in either the Cellular or SATCOM sectors
• Experience of Python or Linux
• Exposure to agile methods and source control systems
• Technical background in wireless communications and in particular modem/wireless transceiver architectures.
• Knowledge of signal processing and DSP would be a distinct advantage.
• Knowledge of software defined radio architectures would be an advantage
