Wood is currently seeking a driven and ambitious Senior Project Engineers to be based on a client’s facilities located in the Melbourne region for an immediate start.

The ideal candidate/s would work within a client team environment providing project support for a portfolio of smaller scaled projects. These roles require hands-on experience directly managing projects with previous oil/gas/chemical service providers would be strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Key ResponsibilitiesProject manage or provide project engineering support to deliver EPC/EPCM projects from project scoping and initiation, front end design, through detailed design, procurement, construction, hand over and close-out, including bottom line responsibility for the financial and technical success of the relevant aspects of those projectsStakeholder engagement and managementFocus on Statement of Requirements throughout the phasing of the project from concept to detail designImplementation of the company quality management system for the project

Qualifications

What We’re Looking ForMinimum 8 years direct Project Management experience managing EPC or EPCM oil & gas or chemical related projectsDemonstrated administration skills necessary to initiate and lead a project, develop design / implementation schedules and provide on-going status reports to the senior management team and clientsHands-on and performance driven Senior Project EngineerBachelor’s Degree in engineeringDemonstrated strong commitment to safety and implementation of strong change management practicesExceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and oralCandidates must have full work rights in Australia to be considered for this role.If you’re an experienced Senior Project Engineer, ready for your next project, then we are keen to hear from you today. Apply now and take the next step in your career with this exciting opportunity!
