SENIOR ARCHITECT, RA

In this role, you will work witha team ofindustry experts to helpthe world’s leading companiessolve their most difficult problems. You willjoin ourArchitecture/EngineeringProcessPracticeandpartner with seasoned leaders, technicalspecialists, and subject matter experts to deliver the highest quality solutions to our clients with consistency and accuracy.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• You’ll support capital projects and implement solutions for our clients:
• Design facilities for industrial manufacturing and distribution operations
• Develop architectural solutions as part of an integrated project team
• Lead architectural design for industrial projects (manufacturing plants, distribution centers, etc.)
• Stamp and sign all architectural construction documents
• Conduct site visits and act as construction administrator
• Define facility requirements based on clients’ production needs
• Conduct code research specific to projects
• Create concept renderings for client communication
• Develop base plans and communicate requirements to engineering disciplines
• Research materials and building methods as needed
• Develop specifications and oversee preparation of permit documents
• Answer RFIs and review submittals throughout construction phases
• Manage and guide architectural designers

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• 8+ years of facilities architectural design experience
• Knowledge of food, beverage, consumer packaged goods. pharmaceutical, or life science sector manufacturing facilities design
• Experience leading facility design from concept through construction
• Strong knowledge of building codes (particularly IBC) • Experience creating construction documents for industrial facilities
• Experience designing greenfield facilities and renovating existing buildings • Experience designing clean rooms, labs, and processing spaces
• Experience designing cold storage environments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft applications
• Willingness to travel for project requirements
• Bachelor of Architecture (BArch)
• Registered Architect license (RA), NCARB preferred
