Job Description:

The Core Team Workstream SME will be responsible for ensuring that that all relevant business requirements are articulated through requirements definition documentation and process flows and owning their functional deliverables to complete the ERP transformation project.

This role will contribute to key workstream deliverables: process flows, requirements definition, design, configuration, master data definition, documentation, software optimization and the integration of industry best practices for the workstream. The Workstream SME will work closely with business representatives to understand requirements, as well as internal and external IT resources to understand technical opportunities and constraints, to deliver a high quality fully functional system to meet BW’s long-term needs. The role is highly collaborative working within and across workstreams to share knowledge and be a change advocate for their function.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

• Represent the designated workstream for the ERP Transformation project team

• Provide the requirements and validate the deliverables for the future state operating model with industry best practices

• Participate in the blueprint through systems setup inclusive of process flows, requirements definition, configuration, master data definition, documentation, quality assurance and the generation of training materials

• Work with other workstreams to synchronize and harmonize master data

• Design and construct of test cases and scenarios

• Perform business solution testing and validation

• Contribute to training and change management needs to prepare workstream end users

• Resolve issues relevant to project deliverable(s) within their area of expertise

• Facilitate discussions with departments regarding business challenges

• Assist with pilot go-live and future roll-out phases

• Serve as a liaison among workstreams, team members and Project Management for project updates via regular meetings and reports

• Other duties as assigned

• Order to Origin (Customer Engagement – Sales and Field Services,Configure/Product/Quote)

• Customer Order to Production Order (Engineering, PLM, Sales and Distribution, Supply Chain)

• Production Order to Shipment (Sales and Distribution, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Inventory and Warehouse Management, Logistics)

• Procure to Pay (Supply Chain)

• Account to Report (Finance)

Job Specifications:

• Strong domain knowledge in process, data, and ability to share information

• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

• Proven ability to learn and work across organizational boundaries

• Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively and influence all levels of both internal and external customers

• Understand best practices and be able to visualize and guide to the future state

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in business related field

• Must have direct business and procedure domain knowledge in applicable areas

• Must be able to articulate current stage business process

• Functional process knowledge within business(es), product lines, and sites

• Experience influencing cross-functional teams without formal authority and maintaining strong working relationships

• Prior experience with ERP implementation or usage in large, complex organization

• Experience in using Microsoft Dynamic 365 Finance & Operations highly desired

• Fluent in Microsoft Office applications, including Power BI

• Fluent in English

• No supervisory responsibilities
Work Environment:

Work is typically performed in a standard office setting.

Position Type:

This is a regular, full-time position with the understanding that a regular workweek will require extended days and hours as needed to meet business needs.

Travel:

Occasional domestic and/or global travel may be required for this position.
