THIS POSITION REPORTS TO

Production Engineering Manager

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will have the opportunity to optimize the Production organization’s assembly methods, processes, and equipment to minimize labor hours in accordance with business strategies related to quality, efficiency, costs, and safety. Each day, you will ensure appropriate production methods, cycle time, equipment performance, and materials/components in support of production targets. You will also showcase your expertise by defining the working phase sequence of a new production process to achieve the targeted product cost and equipment investment budget. You will be mainly accountable for: • New Product Introduction (NPI) o Manage the project and process of introducing new products into production for the factory o Transfer product, process knowledge and the required technical package (includes but not limited to design drawings/BOM/test specification/process map/WI/fixture drawing/control plan) from production responsible units or design authorities to local team, train and qualify operator to ensure they have proper skills to produce new product. o Design the process flow diagram, production Layout (efficient flow of material and process) and value stream map o Set up new production line equipment and fixture, after it works stable transfer all knowledge and document to equipment engineer for daily operation o Set up product testing process to ensure that the product meets the requirement specification o Create documents/drawing/template etc. to ensure local production smoothly and properly manage them. o Vendor tooling or measurement system design and setup o Support the setup of manufacturing process and capabilities in other factories when required • Set up master data in SAP as per superBOM, conduct a PDR (Material Master, Variant Configurator, Bill of Materials & Routing) transfer to other factories or loading to local SAP. • Support Certification (NEPSI, PAC, etc.) application and take sub-project as required • Support part localization and sample inspection • Daily production support and timely update the WI to ensure a smooth and trouble-free operation • Support the vendor tooling & measurement system troubleshooting and problem solving • Follow the Change Management Process to implement the Engineering Change • Notification (ECN) and Design Change Notification (DCN), make changes in SAP and ensure the proper roll out of the changes in production • Responsible for design for manufacturing and process standardization, raise ECR to production responsible units or design authorities to improve product quality, cost and efficiency if see any opportunity • Continuously improve process with LSS tools to reduce manufacturing time, cost, improve efficiency, quality, inventory • Lead or support on automation and smart factory activities.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

• Electronics, electrical automation or relative background
• At least 3 years working experience in a related Engineering environment.
• Research/Design and development
• Test, quality control, Lean Manufacturing
• Production engineering / Industrial engineering / Manufacturing engineering
• Passionate for technology and engineering
• Good communication skills
• Taking responsibility, ownership and make decision with risk
• Ability to work in groups and be self-motivated
• Ability to be an effective contributor when working in multi-cultural team.
