Advanced Software Engineer for Honeywell International, Inc. (Atlanta, GA)
RESPONSIBILITES:
• Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex software systems of Forge Performance Plus, and ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and meet the highest standards of quality.
• Conduct a requirement analysis to obtain requirement clarifications from product owners/stakeholders.
• Assist with the design and architect for highly available and fault-tolerant capabilities.
• Responsible for product implementation and development activities.
• Conduct code reviews and provides constructive feedback to peers to maintain code quality and ensure consistency across the development team.
• Provide production deployment support and updates the promotion page with the latest content and features.
• Resolve issues and bugs in the production environment to ensure smooth operation.
• Perform security reviews wherein she creates security artifacts, such as threat model diagrams and network flow diagrams, to identify and address potential vulnerabilities.
• Update secure development (SD) elements to ensure ongoing compliance with security best practices and standards.
YOU MUST HAVE:
• Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, or related field, and 7 years of software engineering experience.
• Must have 5 years of experience with the following: experience in microservices architecture; experience in .NET core programming language and its related technology; experience in Test driven development and familiarity with unit and Integration test writing using Specflow or similar technology stack.
• Must have 2 years of experience with the following: SaaS software development experience; experience in Azure cloud; good understanding on writing secured code; good understanding on platform and application provisioning & workflow management; Warehouse and Industrial domain understanding and knowledge.
• Telecommuting permitted up to 2 times per week.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
• Job Site: Atlanta, GA
• 40 hours/week
