You will be part of a team consisting of 7 colleagues. The Customization of our products to customer specific devices will be part of your role as System Design Engineer. In your role you will collaborate with several departments like hardware or software development. Among other tasks you will create and maintain documents like test specifications, test reports or user manuals. In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
• Electrical and functional commissioning of test systems
• Specification and execution of test scenarios including preparation of reports
• Execution of developmental test
• Clarification of major issue and initiating follow-up initiatives
• Issue analysis and drive them till resolution with verification of fixes
• Support in various exciting development topics in the future field of power semiconductors
• Coordinate actions with several stakeholders in team and interdisciplinary
• Provide knowledge to other team members
• Revise and update the system manual according to the latest system specifications
• Provide technical support to customers, diagnosing issues and delivering root cause analysis and effective solutions.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

For This Role, You Will Need:
• Successfully completed degree in electrical engineering, information technology, mechatronics, microtechnology, nanoscience, physics or comparable course of study
• Experience in the design of electronics, measurement technology, test engineering or test systems
• Experience in the field of semiconductor technologies (SiC MOSFET, GaN or Si IGBT) is an advantage
• Experience with Voltage above 1kV
• Familiar in operation with Oscilloscope and laboratory measurement Equipment
• Teamwork is critical in this interface position
• English B2 or higher
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
• NI Toolchain like PXI, cRIO, Labview, Teststand
• E-CAD tool (E3 preferred), routine handling of an ERP tool is a plus
• German level B1 or higher
