Join a team that designs, develops and integrates highly complex systems within Honeywell Aerospace. You will be integral in creating software solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will have ownership for software at every aspect of the life-cycle; from the front end of business development through product end of life. You will work across disciplines within the Electronic Solutions business to drive growth and reach critical business milestones.

Be part of the Anthem Flight Management Solutions team. You will report directly to our Electronic Solutions Engineering site Leader working out of our Olathe, Kansas location, while partnering with the team assuring to meet all technical requirements, support functional load deliveries and ultimately, supports certification requirements. You will coordinate with the team leader in the prioritization of work packages, design goals and objectives.

Honeywell Anthem is breaking new ground in Avionics design and the pilot-machine interface, with the goal of making pilots’ jobs easier and safer and essentially allowing pilots to configure their own cockpit based on mission and phase of flight. Our new revolutionary integrated Anthem Flight Deck offers unparalleled levels of connectivity, an exciting and intuitive user interface and a highly scalable and customizable design.

Key Responsibilities

• Flight Management or Flight Guidance Domain Experience
• Avionics or embedded Systems development
• Understanding of DO-178B/C
• Understanding of ARP-4754
• System requirement definition
• Verification test plan experience
• ARINC 429 and signal debug capability
• Testing and Integration on test benches in labs
• Analytical skills & software development skills
• System Verification and Validation

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
• 6+ years of experience in systems engineering and engineering management.
• Mastery of knowledge in systems integration, implementation, and troubleshooting with a thorough insight into multiple workstreams.
• Excellent communication and people-oriented skills.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
