Software Engineer II for Intelligrated Systems, LLC in Pittsburgh, PA

Responsibilities:

• Provide Technical Support via phone calls and emails from external customers.
• Troubleshoot issues related to proprietary software running sortation systems in distribution centers and fulfillment centers.
• Document phone call and issue details.
• Create and provide training.
• Monitor software applications – create automated reporting.
• Debug software defects and analyze software source code to help answer customer questions.
• Develop software improvements.
• Manage change control process – write scope of work and coordinate change with external customer.
• Test and implement software changes.

YOU MUST HAVE:

• Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, and 3 years of experience with software development.
• Full term of experience must include the following: experience resolving critical customer issues; ability to code in multiple languages; understanding software development lifecycle; demonstrate the ability to develop efficient and high quality software; knowledge of software configuration management and change management practices.
• Up to 10% domestic travel required.
• Telecommuting permitted when not at customer site.
