Qualifications:

• 10+ years of professional experience developing production-grade software in Python.
• Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices (testing, CI/CD, design patterns).
• Experience with data-intensive applications, APIs, and distributed systems.
• Proficiency with modern Python frameworks and libraries (e.g., FastAPI, Flask, Pandas, NumPy).
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a distributed team.
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate complex requirements into code.
• Bonus skills:
• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration in production.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Exposure to scientific computing, reservoir modelling, or geoscience applications.
• Experience with DevOps practices and infrastructure as code.
