Be part of PMT client team overseeing EPC contractors
Oversee the development of Process Control requirements carried out by the EPC contractor which includes Control and Operating Philosophy, Cause and Effects charts, Process Control Narratives, HAZOP and general control requirements
Provide technical leadership to develop and update Process Control Technical work practices in line with industrial standards
Be responsible for the co-ordination and progress of process control design for one or more projects, as assigned
Liaise with Suppliers’ representatives and other departments on all matters relating to process control design for assigned projects
Carryout Dynamic Simulation and surge Analysis Studies
Provide consultancy after contract award with Client in assessing or assisting in the definition of process control user requirements
Qualifications
Minimum of 15 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry mainly being in offshore upstream projects
Minimum of 5 years proven capability in an engineering design company
Demonstrated leadership experience and previous track record of successfully working in PMC team
Experience of working with multi-national and multi-cultural project teams is strongly preferred
Previous experience of working in the Middle East would be an advantage
Bachelor Degree in Chemical or related Engineering
