Job Description:

Tests and repairs RF medical devices that use dielectric heating/microwave technology at the 6.7 MHz range. Also works withmechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components.

In this role you will have a broad scope of responsibility from creating electrical test fixtures, to developing and executing test plans, writing test reports and component level troubleshooting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Meets all the requirements of an Electrical Engineer III
• Has 8+ years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on RF-enabled devices and control system software.
• Experience in RF Design; PCBA design. Designs, develops, modifies and evaluates electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment and other hardware systems.
• Determines design approaches and parameters. Analyzes equipment to establish operating data, conducts experimental tests and evaluates results.
• Selects components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability. May also review vendor capability to support product development.
• Serves as a recognized expert in the field of electrical engineering, with a deep understanding of industry trends and best practices.
• Leads the strategic direction and vision for the electrical engineering function, aligning it with the overall business objectives.
• Provides technical oversight and guidance on the most complex and high-impact electrical engineering projects.
• Collaborates with cross-functional leadership to identify and address organizational challenges and opportunities.
• Mentors and develops the electrical engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Represents the company as a technical authority, interfacing with customers, partners, and industry influencers.
• Demonstrates exceptional strategic thinking, decision-making, and change management skills.
• Ensures GMPs are followed in the product development cycle and mentors’ junior engineers in the proper usage GMPs and quality procedures.
• Reviews performance specifications, engineering concepts and makes recommendations about feasibility and production cost.
• Must be able to travel if there is a need but no more than 10%.
• Provides technical guidance and mentorship to junior electrical engineers.
• May be responsible for leading small-to-large-sized projects or initiatives.
• Ad-hoc projects as needed
